DJI Set To Launch Affordable Single-Screen Goggles N3 In Early November

Oct 18, 2024Oct 18, 2024

DJI is gearing up to release its latest FPV goggles, the Goggles N3, in the first week of November. This information comes from Jasper Ellens, a known source for DJI Rumors and leaks, who shared details about the upcoming product on X (formerly Twitter).

The Goggles N3 are described as a “cheap, chubby but light, single-screen, affordable O4 goggles” designed specifically for DJI’s Neo drone. This new offering aims to provide an accessible entry point for FPV enthusiasts looking for DJI quality at a more budget-friendly price.

According to Ellens, the Goggles N3 will be compatible with both the NEO and Avata2 drones. He predicts the launch date to be either November 5th or 7th, marking an exciting addition to DJI’s FPV ecosystem.

The leak includes an image of the Goggles N3, showing a compact, single-screen design. The goggles feature a dark gray body with visible ports and buttons, suggesting a user-friendly interface. The “DJI” branding is clearly visible on the device.

This move by DJI appears to be an attempt to broaden their FPV market. By offering a more affordable option, they’re likely aiming to attract newcomers to FPV flying while still providing compatibility with their existing drone lineup.

The introduction of the Goggles N3 could significantly impact the drone industry, particularly in the FPV sector. By offering a more accessible price point, DJI might encourage broader adoption of FPV flying. This strategy aligns with recent trends in the industry, where we’ve seen a push towards making Drone Technology more approachable for casual users and hobbyists.

The compatibility with both the NEO and Avata2 suggests DJI is building a more integrated ecosystem, potentially leading to increased brand loyalty and market share. It’ll be interesting to see how this new product affects the competitive landscape and whether it’ll drive innovation among other drone manufacturers.
